Business operations

Maintain the asset. Update the business automatically.

Service vehicles, plant, refrigeration, generators and buildings before they fail, guide technicians through the work on a phone, and post every part, hour and contractor invoice to the asset and the ledger as the work is done.

The planned maintenance backlog, listing calendar, running-hour and kilometre triggers for vehicles, a generator and a compressor.
The maintenance backlog: work triggered by date, running hours and kilometres, with each item's due date and status.

What your business gets

Every asset serviced on time, with its true maintenance cost on the asset and in the accounts and no second system to reconcile.

The flow, end to end

  1. Schedule due
  2. Work order raised
  3. Parts and labour ready
  4. Work done on a phone
  5. Readings and checks
  6. Supervisor approval
  7. Cost to asset and ledger

Maintenance on the same record as the business

Most businesses run maintenance in a separate system, or on a wall chart. Parts are issued from stores in one place, contractor invoices are paid in another, and nobody knows what an asset really costs to keep running.

In Predictiv, you run maintenance inside the ERP, with the same asset register, the same stores and the same ledger as the rest of the business. When you issue a part to a work order, Predictiv removes it from stock. Predictiv posts labour and contractor cost to the asset and to the accounts as the work is done. You need no interface to bring maintenance cost back into the ERP, because Predictiv records it there from the start.

Know every asset

Keep one register of vehicles, production lines, refrigeration, generators and buildings, arranged in a location hierarchy with parent assets. Give each asset a criticality and an operational status. Attach meters and take readings by hand, from vehicle trips in fleet, or from connected equipment.

Tag assets by barcode, QR code, NFC or engraved plate. Run verification rounds to confirm by scan that each asset is where the register records it.

Plan the work once

Write versioned job plans with tasks and checklists. Each checklist step is typed as pass, flag or fail. Measurements have acceptable limits, and safety steps are acknowledged before work starts. Estimate labour, parts and tools per task, so stores staff know from the plan what to have ready.

Schedule it before it fails

Trigger work by calendar, by meter reading, or by both. Schedules can be fixed or floating, with early and late tolerance windows. A forecast shows the work coming over the horizon you choose, so planners see next month’s load in advance.

Do the work on a phone

When work falls due, Predictiv raises the work order and queues it for the right role. Technicians work through the job plan on a phone or at a desk. They capture readings against limits and record the labour, parts and tools they used. A supervisor approves the work before it is closed, and every change is recorded with a reason in the audit trail.

Keep the backlog under control

Planners see the backlog and overdue work against the capacity available, and release work only when the materials are ready. Predictiv uses notifications, service-level timers and escalation to bring urgent work to someone who can act on it.

See what maintenance achieves

Cost is reported by asset, by plan and by period. Predictiv measures PM compliance, schedule adherence, and planned against actual time and cost, using the definitions of the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals. It records downtime and failure causes, reports reliability, and sends a warning before a warranty lapses so you do not miss a claim.

Maintenance work is also where much environmental data starts. Refrigerant events, waste movements and energy readings are captured during the job, ready for sustainability reporting.

What makes it different

Specialist maintenance products handle assets and work orders well. Someone then has to move their cost into stock and finance through an interface. In Predictiv, maintenance, inventory and finance are on one record, so the cost of each asset is current as the work is done.

Vehicles are included. Predictiv updates the maintenance meters from fleet trip odometer readings, so you service each vehicle by the distance it has actually been driven. Approvals run through workflow, technicians work through mobile and offline access, and you see the results in analytics.
