One source of figures
In many businesses, reporting means an overnight extract into a separate tool, a data model that differs from the ERP, and a meeting spent arguing about whose number is right. Predictiv reports from the record the business runs on. The sales figure in a dashboard is the sum of the invoices in the ledger, and the stock figure is the balance the warehouse holds.
Because Predictiv posts sales, purchasing, stock, production, maintenance and finance to one record, you can report across them without a join between systems. Margin by product includes what it cost to make. Asset cost includes the parts that came out of stores.
Reports you can run today
Predictiv includes a library of standard reports for the questions every business asks: trial balance and ledger reports, receivables and payables ageing, stock by location, sales by customer and product, and purchasing by supplier. Each report takes parameters such as date range, organisation and dimension, so you can answer the same question for a branch, a region or the group with one report.
Dimensions such as cost centre are set on the documents themselves, so you report by dimension without a separate mapping. Budgets are held by account and dimension and compared with actual results as they post.
Dashboards by role
Each person’s dashboard shows the figures their role is responsible for. A finance manager might see receivables and the day’s postings first, and a warehouse manager their stock. Head office can follow a stock take branch by branch during the day, and a fleet supervisor receives a daily update on a phone.
You drill down from any figure to the documents behind it, so you answer a question about a number by opening it.
Ask the business a question
Not every question has a report. With the Predictiv Assistant, you ask in plain language, such as which customers are over their credit limit or which products sold below cost last week, and get an answer with the sources it used. Questions are read-only and limited to the data you are allowed to see. The AI page describes how it works.
Reporting for people outside the ERP
Directors, supervisors, customers and suppliers do not need to learn the ERP screens to read their figures. Atrium shows them live views under the same sign-in and access rules, and you can export any view as branded Excel or PDF. No data is copied into a second system to do it.
Controls you can report on
Reporting also covers the health of the books. Findings from continuous controls monitoring in finance are listed with their owner and status, stock variances are recorded with their reasons, and you can trace every adjustment to the entry that caused it. An auditor’s question can be answered from the system, not from a spreadsheet built for the occasion.
What makes it different
Predictiv applies the access rules for the screens to the reports, the dashboards, the assistant and the exports. A person sees the same figures, and only the figures they may see, wherever they look. You route any approval that follows from a report through workflow, on the same record.
