What integration means in Predictiv
Most businesses deal with systems that are not their ERP. They have banks, tax authorities, payment providers, customers’ ordering systems and messaging apps. Integration is how Predictiv exchanges data with them.
The aim is to connect without copying. Predictiv keeps one business record. Other systems read from it and write to it through controlled services, and they keep no versions of their own that must be reconciled later.
Why it matters
Every copy of a customer, a price or a stock balance is a copy that can go wrong. When a van app, a portal and an ERP each hold their own prices, someone spends month-end finding out which one was right. With one record, nobody has to do that work. It also means one set of access rules, one audit trail and one place to change a setting.
Open architecture
Predictiv is built on open technology: Linux, PostgreSQL and Java, with web and mobile front ends. You buy no proprietary database or middleware licence to run it. It can be hosted by Syntegra, on your own servers or with a cloud provider you choose, as described under security.
The AI layer is open in the same way. Predictiv does not tie you to one model provider. The model behind the assistant is a configuration choice.
What you can connect
- Standard APIs. REST services expose Predictiv records to your own systems and partners. Each call authenticates as a user or integration account and is limited by that account’s role.
- Tax and fiscal systems. Receipts and invoices are fiscalised where the transaction happens. Supplier fiscal invoices are checked against the tax authority’s system during payment verification. See payments and fiscalisation.
- Payments. Mobile payments such as EcoCash are taken at the till and the van alongside cash.
- Data loads. Load opening balances, master data and bulk transactions through standard import files, and Predictiv checks them before posting.
- Documents. Predictiv turns supplier invoices, purchase orders and compliance documents into draft records when they are uploaded, through documents.
Conversational channels
Customers can order over WhatsApp. Predictiv processes that order through the same transaction services as an order keyed in the ERP or placed on the partner portal. It is priced from the customer’s own contract price list and credit-checked before the order exists. There is no separate chat database and no retyping.
AI tools under your own login
Predictiv supports the open Model Context Protocol (MCP). With it, you can ask live Predictiv data from your own AI assistant. The assistant signs in as you and retrieves only what your role allows. Every request is recorded in the audit trail against your name. Your organisation decides which people may connect this way.
What makes it different
Many ERP vendors respond to a new channel by adding a separate product with its own copy of the data. Predictiv puts one set of transaction services behind every channel: the ERP screens, the till, the portal, WhatsApp, the Predictiv Assistant and external AI tools. Change a business rule once, and Predictiv applies it everywhere.
How it connects to the platform
Predictiv uses these same services across the platform. Analytics reports on the same records the business runs on. The AI answers across finance, stock and sales without a second knowledge store. The portal, the till and the ERP use one set of prices, customers and balances.
