Stores on one record
A retailer succeeds or fails on what happens at the till and on the shelf. Predictiv runs every store on the same record as head office. Products, prices, promotions, stock and sales are shared, so Predictiv sends a price changed centrally to every till, and moves the stock and posts to the ledger for each sale at the till.
At the till
With point of sale, cashiers keep selling when the network is down. The till works fully offline, and Predictiv synchronises the sales when the connection returns. Predictiv prices the till from the same pricing engine as the ERP, so the price on the receipt matches the price in the back office.
Payments and fiscalisation are part of the sale. Each receipt is fiscalised on the device, so the fiscal record is made where the transaction happens. Customers can pay in US dollars, ZWG or a mix, and by mobile payment such as EcoCash, in the same sale. At the end of the shift, cash is declared before the expected figure is shown, and the variance is worked out per tender and per currency.
Stock you can trust
In inventory you hold stock by store and warehouse. You no longer close the doors for a stock take. Staff count on ordinary Android phones on the shop floor while sales continue. Counts are blind, only lines outside tolerance are recounted by a different person, and the counter gives a reason for every variance. Head office follows progress by branch during the day. Between full counts, Predictiv selects the products most at risk at each store for cycle counts.
Built for the conditions
Mobile and offline access is designed for variable connectivity and ordinary devices. Cashiers keep selling on the till when the network is down, and staff count stock on the ordinary phones they already carry.
